Praise indeed! Local Lymington lad Alan came for a two day course before he started to use his own lathe. We had a go at spindle turning, tool sharpening and turned a bowl, we also had a go at making a scoop which whetted his appetite to make a few more. Alan had various careers in the hospitality business in the past (now semi retired) and now holds classes at his successful Lymington B & B kitchen teaching Artisan Bread Making.
