Given Andrew a confidence to use his own equipment now at home! Thank you Andy" Andrew was given a voucher for a day's wood turning with Andy by his wife Sandra and family. Needless to say he really enjoyed himself and being local to us, vowed to return soon! This is how Andrew got on: -
Paul was booked in for two days turning with me by his wife Amanda who dropped him off at the workshop both days and then went out to discover the local area and attractions - eventually they want to move down to this neck of the woods! This was what Paul had to say: - "Went 2 Days learning and practicing a new skill, some way to go but left with a bowl and 2 apples. Every one now wants an apple, there could be a market here! Andy is a great teacher and lunch served as well
Sarah and Neil attended a Saturday course after staying locally in an Airbnb overnight. This is what Sarah had to say about the day! "Just wanted to thank you for a great day on Saturday. We both really enjoyed the wood turning and we’re really happy with our bowls! Thanks very much for the extra pendant and the apple too 😊 and for the lovely lunch! Also we left your card with our Airbnb host who was very impressed with our bowls and might give it a go!"
Norm's wife Kate purchased a gift e-voucher for a full days woodturning for his 75th birthday which was on May 15th this year. She was hoping he would enjoy the experience for the day and as he is a local Salisbury lad he was not that far away from us. This is how he got on............!
Friends and business associates Christine and Paul decided on a half day afternoon session to give them a taster session into the world of wood turning! Both had a very productive day with Paul commenting the next day: - HI Andy Thanks for the very useful intro. I’M DOING THIS! Could you tell me the basic tools I will need in addition to the lathe? Many thanks Paul
Richard, a local lad joined me in the workshop for a half day lesson to brush up on his woodturning. He wanted this to be a regular lesson as he was having a few problems with his lathe and accessories. This is how Richard got on! He has already booked in for lesson no 2!
Neil Lovegrove joined me in the workshop for the day. We started at 9am as I needed to be somewhere else in the late afternoon. When the weather is hot and the mornings are cooler we have the option of starting and hour earlier and finishing and hour earlier, if this suits you remember to ask. I try and take a few action shots which we email to our customer to remember the day by! Neil had a good productive day - here is what he had to say: - "Hi Andy & Martine, Thank you
