Beginners Woodturning Father & Son Day

I took my 8yo to do some wood turning, we made a couple of bowls, and it was fantastic. Andy is friendly and knowledgeable and he made the day really enjoyable. He balanced instruction and demonstration really well, making sure my 8yo did most of the work, but with enough intervention to help ensure the final product is something really special. We learned a lot and I feel like we got a superlative experience. My 8yo's enthusiasm didn't waiver, even tho it's a tiring day. We also got a homemade cottage pie for lunch in the garden. I cannot recommend enough.
